Developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft, Star Wars Outlaws is set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Rather than retread the events of the Galactic Civil War or expand the Jedi mythos, the game instead follows an all-new character, Kay Vess, and her droid companion Nix, as they attempt a giant heist against the galaxy’s crime syndicates.
The game will take the outlaw duo to multiple open-world planets players can freely explore, including recognizable locations like Tatooine, as well as all-new worlds filled with original characters. Thankfully, despite it’s large scope, the game’s developers assure Star Wars Outlaw’s main story campaign will be a “manageable” length. Be sure to check out all our Star Wars Outlaws coverage to learn more about the game ahead of launch.
